How do I reinstate an employee from former to current after issuing their P45?

Good Morning Suzy,

 

Thank you for sending your question through, I have had a look on the Customer Community for you and found an answer from a previous discussion thread which should help answer your question:

 

"It is not possible to reverse a P45. If the employee has decided to stay and the P45 has been issued, you can rehire them and enter the pay information into their previous pay screen.

 

This will put the employee on the correct tax code and will be sent to HMRC via the FPS.
