Hi {@005D0000001bV32IAE}  & {@005D0000009gYZzIAM} ,

Thank you for your question – it’s a great topic to bring to the community!

There are two separate answers for this – depending on the solution we are discussing.

For Trade Simple – Yes absolutely this can happen. To do this simply raise a technical case with our support team outlining what complexities are required for the passwords and we will take it from there :)

For Inventory – Unfortunately the complexity of the passwords cannot be changed. As default, the Inventory system has the following complexities:

-       Must contain upper case character

-       Must contain lower case character

-       Must contain a digit

-       Must be of at least 8 character long

Having said that, the frequencies of how often a user’s password has to be updated can be changed. This is a great way of keeping passwords in line with security compliance.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi @Richard Hayden ,

Thank you for your email earlier - I just wanted to post it on the community directly so we can have full visibility :)

"We use the Single Sign On to log in to Inventory, what are the current password complexities around this and can they be amended?"

It's a great question and plenty others will no doubt benefit from the answer.

The password complexities when logging on to the Fourth Platform is a Minimum of 8 characters, which includes a mixture of numbers as well as uppercase and lowercase letters.

This setting is standard across all of our customers who use the Fourth Platform so therefore cannot be customised.

I hope this answers your question - please let me know if you have anything else I can help with :)

Thanks,

Paul

Hi @Paul Stephenson Thanks for this. Over what period must the password be reset?

Hi @Richard Hayden ,

The password will be prompted to be updated every 90 days.

Thanks 🙂
