We have promoted someone with an eff. date of 1st Oct and the system won't let me put in their new salary until 30 days before. I would like to be able to make changes to employee's salary and exit details in advance. Is this possible and if so how?

Hi @Kate Castellani​ 

If you update the salary using the Employee Batch update you can enter a salary in advance and the future change will appear in the employee history with the effective date.

 

If you would like to enter a termination date in advance a Global setting in payroll needs to be changed to allow this. This can only be done by Fourth as we (customers) do not have access.
