Release Note - Payroll Module: Stopping Salary Payments – SMP and SAP

What's Changing?

When entering a start date against a Statutory Maternity/Adoption Pay (SMP or SAP) record for salaried employees, the employee’s salaried payment type will end.  

Release Date 29th March 2018  

Reason for the Change

To ensure salaried employees that go onto SMP or SAP do not get overpaid. Removes the need for manual adjustment.

After the SMP has ended will the system put the salary back or will it be a manual process?​

Great question! In this instance the Salary will need to be put back in manually.
