The information within the release note explains that all automatic enrollment schemes will have their main pension record and worker groups updated as per the pension phasing legislation changes. @Sital Hirani is asking "With regards to employees on the enhanced group pension schemes with a different %, where can we amend the % for these schemes? "

Hi Cris,
We are not asking to make early changes to any of the scheme. From the Release notes, we figured out Fourth will make changes to the scheme that are below the legal requirement. We have a scheme which is already above the legal required contribution. Employer contribution is this scheme going up at the same time. How or who will make the this change om fourth? Have you looked at our portal?
Thanks
Sital

Hi @Sital Hirani,
Thanks for clarifying the additional details in your post. Just to be clear that the changes will be implimented by the system when the portal is rolled over into the next tax year automatically as per. the Release Note. The updates we are doing will not reduce any schemes down to the legislation value if they are above it. Only AE schemes and worker groups that are below the legislative amount will be updated. Any equal to or greater than it will be ignored.
If you need to modify the pension schemes sooner you can do this yourselves manually. Then when the portal is rolled over it will recognise that those schemes are compliant and will make no further change. Please follow the path above to implement this.
Thanks!
Cris

@Hello Cristabelle, I don't think you have the correct response. We are not looking fro individual employee scheme change. We are asking of the change for the enhanced scheme, which will then affect all employees on that scheme.
Equally, we are looking to amend the contribution rates effective 02.04.18. Would this change need to be done sooner with the effective date as I do not want to miss out as Pension is sort of driven by pension reference period. We are weekly payroll with two week retro payment date. Not sure what fields are there for this change to be made, hence this question.

Good Morning @Sital Hirani,
To amend employee on the enhanced group pension please follow this path:
Pension > search for Employee > Employee Pension Info > Pensions > select the pension scheme > Change Employee/er contributions > Save
I hope this helps?
Thanks

Good Afternoon {@005D0000003qG96IAE},
When the portal is rolled forward, the ‘Auto Enrolment’ schemes will automatically update with the new minimum contributions.
There are 2 scenarios where the customer will have to manually update the system themselves:
They have a non AE scheme which is assigned to employee’s records with a default contribution level (an enhanced scheme).
- A Customer can edit any non-AE schemes at the pension scheme level and update the contributions manually themselves if they are increasing those. They do this be going into Payroll > Administration > Pension Schemes > Select Scheme > Edit > EE and ER Contribution update.
The customer has a number of employees who have different contribution levels to the rest of the employees which have been manually added to their pension record
- This applies to fixed amount contributions as well as % contributions different to the pension scheme defaults
- A customer will need to go into each employee’s record separately to manually amend the contribution rates.
Thanks!

Hi Ross,
We did contact the customer service manager directly and she put this question out in this feed to be answered by experts.
I am not sure where we stand now.
Thanks

Hi {@005D0000003qG96IAE},
I hope you don't mind me jumping in here - I just wanted to let you know that if you'd like help that is specific for your portal, I would recommend highlighting this to your Customer Success Manager and maybe booking onto an #[Ask Fourth] session. This will give you time with a Fourth expert to look at your specific portal and business needs.
The Customer Community is a great place for discussions with Fourth experts and your peers on generic solution use, whereas #AskFourth sessions can be tailored to your business specifically which might help you in your above scenario 😊 They will be able to look at your portal too! Cris's helpful posts are generic to the solution and functionality - which is helpful in providing tools to help understand and edit settings for all Fourth users. Just thought that I'd let you know about the other helpful services Fourth provides too!
I hope that helps!
Best,
Rozz
