On the government cvjr guidance where it says number of hours, it seems that the system will work based on an 'average hour' for all flexible staff, and use contract hours or FTE details for not flexible. What does this mean please, is it if they are hourly paid they will be calculated by average hour and if they are salary then Fourth will use contract hours? And why salary people need their contract hour in calculation please, can you advise?

    Hi Kate,

     

    In answer to the original question, the furloughed screen will show the contracted hours for full time and part time employees, if there are no contracted hours they will show the FTE hours for the employees. For flexible and casual employees they will show the average hours based upon the holiday setting (12, 26 or 52 weeks) whilst we work on enhancing that calculation.

    This is there for reporting and we have also also mapped these fields into our API for our Wagestream customers to use.
