The casual employees that are being furloughed, how does this work. I understood that the system is going to work out their average of the last 52 weeks , how do we calculate a payment to these staff

    Hi Christine,

Thanks for the questions. If you have no employees to schedule because of furlough, then you can either complete and submit those rotas to tidy them up (you can only do this once the current week starts), or you can delete those out and not create any more until you have employees returning to work.

Any casual/hourly paid employees who require a furlough payment will require a manual payment added through payroll.

    Many thanks,

    Sophie

Can I delete rotas for the period as most of our staff have been furloughed and there is no need for these to actioned.

How will the casual staff be paid

    Hi Christine,

If your portal has moved to the 52 week setting for flexible employees, then you can use the information in the 'average hours' box in the holiday page to use for this calculation- it's also available through a custom report. We are doing a release tomorrow to add information to the employee's furlough page, which will give you an 'earnings per period' figure. This will also be available in an export shortly.

    Many thanks,

    Sophie.
