Good Morning apologies if this has been answered already Once we have calculated average pay for our flexible employees and put them on furlough am I right in thinking that we would then manually create the payment on the payslip? ie. nothing will feed through automatically? and if its a manual payment should I create a specific payment type for this? thanks in advance
Virginia is correct (thank you!), you do need to manually create or load the payments. Creating a new payment type for Furlough will be shown on the payslip and may help your reporting.
Yes, you need to manually create the payment as employees will be technically on 0 hours. We created a new payment type (called it 'Furlough') and uploaded the payments for hour hourly employees.
