We had employees that were made redundant and were issued a p45, that have since been re-employed. Is changing their employment date to reflect their original start date enough on fourth once re-hired or is there anything else we should be doing?

Thanks for this question.
Have you rehired the original employee record by changing the status to "current" on the Employment Details screen?
In this instance I would ask the employee to destroy the P45 they received.

I have two staff that this has happened to. Is this the best way to fix the issue or am I best to rehire in the normal way?
