    Hi, please could you kindly confirm if this is compulsory to use or not. If I am calculating the wages accordingly to the scheme and using the upload, do I still need to update the employee furlough status? If so what implications does this have on the payroll Thanks

    I have a few questions about the furlough status utility. I have done all of the calculations outside of the system so was only using this flag for information & historical record keeping, but am having a few issues:

    • Are there any plans to update the furlough status for the extension to 30th June?
    • I have tried to enter an end date for a period 30th March to 19th April (ie. exactly 21 days as per minimum required) but the batch upload is regarding this as an error and wants the end date to be one day later therefore 3 weeks & 1 day?
    • Some of the start dates were entered incorrectly, but the only way that i can see to amend is to go into every individual record & correct. Are there any plans to do batch editing on start/end/clear furlough either in the batch screen or via csv uploads?
    • Will the furlough status be an option to report against in custom reporting so that it can be accounted for in any future analysis etc?

    @Annette Bomzer

    Apologies for the delay in this response. I hope the below information answers your queries.

    1 - The extension to 30th June will be going live on 14th May

    2 - A fix to the validation around the 21 days that you are referring to will also be going live on 14th May

    3 - If you contact your CSM or payroll specialist, we can arrange for a batch clear of dates so that they can be re-uploaded with the correct information

    4 - As yet, we haven't had any plans to add furlough to the custom report option but I can certainly propose it to the product team to see if they can get it added.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @Emanuela Castaldo

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The furlough status option is not compulsory at all. There is the option to switch off the functionality in the HR global settings if you don't require it.

    Kind Regards

    Alison
