I have a salaried employee who works over two sites under the same location. The Global settings are set to calculate salary based on the days worked. On Monday the employee worked at him 'home' location and for 4 days at another location. In his 'home' location, Rota Wage Cost for Monday includes his weekly salary, as he only worked 1 day under 'home' location, which significantly increases Rota Wage Cost % and doesn't show true daily cost. It eventually balances out over the week but for that particular day the Wage Cost is very high and indicates 'false' cost. Is there any way this can be adjusted under system settings to include a daily rate for this employee rather than weekly?
Thank you

Hi @Karen Sheffield
Yes you are correct. If the setting is on to split the salary across days worked, it does this by location. 3 days in one location and 2 days in a second location would create different daily rates but balances at the end of the week.
The alternative is to change the setting to spit the salary across 7 days. Whilst this will mean that the day rate is lower, it will be the same amount cross charged between sites.
Please note, the rota module is only an forecast or estimation of costs and is not designed to provide 100% accurate costings. Payroll reports should be used for accurate reporting of cost and cross charges.
Hope this helps
