We have started to use projects in detail now but the system is not sending an email when a project is awaiting approval which isn't ideal   Is it possible to get emails in this part of the system and if not, can we have a report that shows the approval status of projects so that we can advise when projects need approval? @Jessica Sanderson​

Have you created a Project approval route? If you do this, then when the project is sent for approval the Users in the list will get an email.

This is not the case on projects.  We have approval routes set up for projects but no emails are generated .

​This may need to be raised as a defect then.

 

As long as you have your User communication set-up Edit > Preferences > Communication > Email Interface and (If set to Outlook,) your Outlook open then this should generate the email.

 

I have tried this on a testing portal and it does generate the email as with other approval routes.
