Can I run a report on furloughed employees?

Hi, Now that we can change employee status into 'furloughed', is there a way to get a report to see who is furloughed? I cannot see anything on an employee's file saying their status has changed or they are furloughed, so we still need to rely on manual lists to keep track of this. It would be great to have access to this on HR>Employee List>Show employees (and add this new status on the scroll down list). But I understand this could be quite a lot of work on the back end. Any ideas? thanks,   Virginia

    That is a really important and valid question.

     

    We are currently working on an export that will let you report on the furlough flag and the information to help with your reporting and what needs to be added into payroll. 

     

    As soon as we have this function available, we will publish in the @Covid-19​ which I have added you both too, so you can keep up to date with new functions & updates that will help you navigate through this uncertain period.

    Is there an export available yet for the info on the Furloughed employees?  I think some of our managers may have furloughed some employees, but not told us!

    Hi @Maeve Morgan​ the export is part of the batch update functionality which is still in testing. We are hoping for it to be ready for release on 16th April.

    Thank you Alison.

    I look forward to this report however it is a shame that it doesn't contain the pay from the same period last year.

    The average pay calculation article suggests that we use some reports in payroll but those report gross pay include other elements such as tips, tronc, service charge,bonus,etc...Unless if we use the post pay run report and manipulate it which is open to errors.

    Please also note that we are working on an additional export to help with making the claims to the grant which will include the Employer NIC (depending on NI Category) and minimum pension calculation. Please ensure that separate payment types are used to pay furlough payments so they can be easily identified once the claim export is released.
