We have an instance where an absence has not been added to the rota. I have tried adding it through the HR portal but it will not work as the rota has been submitted to payroll. We have added a manual payment for the employee so that they receive the SSP £ amount but I am wondering if there is anything else I can do to record the absence so it is included in any future SSP calculations.

It is not possible to create an absence for a previous date on a rota that has already been submitted.
In order to have the employees record reflect the correct SSP calculations, this would have to been raised as a case with all relevant details where one of our team here can upload/update the records on your behalf.
