Is there a way to restrict the holiday input so that 2 employees can't book the same dates off? If not is it possible to set up a pop up message if a time slot has been already booked off?

There is no way to restrict the number of employees that can be off at once as this will vary from business to business, however when submitting holiday request the employee can view the holiday calendar to check if anyone else is off.

When approving the holiday, the manager should also check the holiday calendar first. They will also be able to click the 'History' link which will show when the holiday as requested. This will enable them to approve the first request and decline the 2nd request.
