Hello everybody,
I hope you are all keeping safe!
We have now furloughed all our employees, but as some of the employees only joined our company in January/February and are full time the calculation used by Fourth has not given us very accurate hours, so we have worked out on a pro rata basis the hours we expect the employees would have worked for us.
I have gone back and updated the "Contracted Hours" field in the furlough section but the "Earnings / Period" section has not updated.
Will the employees pay be calculated based on the "Contracted Hours" that I have just entered, or I need to make some further changes!
Thank you for your help!

Updating Contract Hours when an employee is on furlough?

Linked Ideas
Hi Boyan,
Thanks for the question. The earnings for the period is not linked to the contracted hours. The earnings per period is the average earnings calculated using the formula described in the article here: https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/WFM-Average-Pay-Calculation
For your employees who started in the middle of the tax year, the formula will use the days since the start date.
We have also released our Furlough Status Export this morning so that should aid your reporting. The release note is here: https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/WFM-Release-Note-Furloughed-Status-Export
Many thanks,
Sophie
