On the HR part of Fourth, where do you record Maternity leave? We don't want to put it down as an absence as that will affect the Bradford Factor, but equally it needs recording somewhere - any ideas? Thank you, Val

Hi @Val Still​ 

Maternity is recorded in the Payroll module and feeds into the rotas. It does not deed through to HR.

Anyone that would need access to this information can be given access to this specifically by updating the templates in Payroll.

Hi Debbie,

 

This works during the paid MAT leave period and reflects on the Rota as SMP.

 

How can you record the additional/unpaid MAT leave to reflect on the rotas as SMP too?

 

I also do not want to record it as an absence or OFF as we operate contracted hours so the global settings do not allow a rota to be submitted with someone who is OFF all week.

Unfortunately the only way to record additional unpaid maternity leave is through an absence​. As its a long absence and authorised in advance this wouldn't have a huge impact on the Bradford Factor.
