I would like to know as Troncmaster how the Fourth system manages the tronc payments in a compliant manner. The tronc scheme has a seperate PAYE scheme.

 How can the payment to the employee be made as 1 payment without national insurance and reported separately to HMRC. My company would like me to set this up and I do not have any idea how to do this.

If you have a separate PAYE for Tronc, unfortunately you cannot make a single payment to the employee.

They will receive 2 payments and 2 payslips.

Some customers have opted to Merge PAYEs so that the employee receives 1 payment and 1 payslip.

We can assist with this however permission needs to be granted by HMRC as they will want to confirm you are running a proper Tronc scheme to gain the reduced NI.

In either case, the Tronc payment Types in the Payroll module will need to have NI unticked so that NI is not calculated on the payment.

 

If you wish to keep the 2 PAYEs seperate, you will need to set up a new company in the payroll module.
