A user is unable to access a template created by a former employee. What might be the root cause?

    A few things could be causing this. When the former employee left the business if their logon was deleted from the system, the system would have then alerted the user that this employee owned templates and who should this ownership then be transferred to. So that would be the first area to look at.

     

    Secondly would be does the new user have access to use that template and if so to what extent? Only to use, make changes, etc.

     

    Those would be the two areas I would look at first to determine why the new user is unable to use the template created by a former employee.
