HI - my customer is planning on doing the below - based on the furlough article on Salaries what is the best way of achieving this?
- 80% for furloughed employees who earn up to £37.5k
- 80% for furloughed employees plus a 70% top up for this who earn in excess of £37.5k
- Apply 85% of salary for those employees who remain working during the restaurant closures/hibernation period.
Thanks

Hey @Rachel Sutton
Thanks for this question.
I would use payroll reports exported to excel, and add formulas to identify which category each employee falls into. One could filter from there.
One could use a custom report to export salary/rate per hour, or use Payroll Summary Individual Pay Period (this can be found here Payroll module > Reports > View Reports) to view a past period.
Another option is P11 YTD Report (this can be found here Payroll module > Reports > Exports) which breaks down tax periods per employee for the entire tax year.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Lauren
