Hi - Probably a very basic question (sorry) If a full time person who works 5 days over 7 takes a week holiday, should it be entered on the rota a 5 days holiday (through the HR module) and 2 days off

Hi @Sharon Harkins​ This is a question we are often asked so thank you for posting it here.

We recommend entering the full period of the 7 day holiday to stop the employee being scheduled on the rota when they are not available.

Their days off should be ticked as unpaid to stop the holiday balance being reduced. See fig. 8 in the document below
