The HMRC gateway is a method of transferring information between two specific parties. In this case between yourselves and HMRC.

 

If HMRC have sent you an email, they will have sent the information via the HMRC gateway.

This will need to be Downloaded then administered.

For customers managing their payroll In house, it is good practice to ensure that the downloads for P6/P9 SL1/SL2 are completed and administered via the relevant tabs prior to running the payroll preview.

The Administration menu of P6/P9 and SL1 SL2 will show any downloads that have not been 'Added' if these have been updated manually they can be 'removed'

For Bureau Services customers this is done for them.
