Is there a report I can run that shows the breaks due to be taken on any given rota day ?

Hi {@005D000000AK8tjIAD} Unfortunately the Rota module does not give any warnings when a shift of 6hrs is scheduled. This is available in the Labour Productivity and advance scheduling modules.

The rota module has the functionality to deduct a break if a shift of a certain length is scheduled but managers must still make sure the break is taken.

The Forecast v Actual v Paid daily will show the shift that has been scheduled and the length of the shift, with a break deducted if the system is set up to do so.

Managers should be aware of the legal obligation to ensure that breaks are given to staff after 6 hours worked and they should be aware of this when scheduling.

Best Practice would be to plan in breaks to ensure enough staff are available to cover the breaks and therefore schedule them. For example 1000 - 1400 1430- 1700

When scheduling, managers can use the optimisation screen.

The attached guide has some tips on rota scheduling that may help.

Kind regards

@Saskia Dykstra  Thanks , going to use the blank rota print out with an excel formula to work out break entitlement from the hours worked column :)

Good Morning @Sharon Harkins

In the system managers can look at the export Forecast vs Actual vs Paid - Daily, as this shows the start and end times for each shift for the date range this export is run for. They could also use the print rota function within the rota.

Rotas > Reports > Exports > Forecast Vs Actual Vs Paid

Another great way to check this for employees is on the Fourth Platform, check out the article below for more information of Employee Self Service.
