We have a member of staff moving from one hotel to another (each with their own PAYE ref) so we normally P45 at one site and continue employment at the new site.
The question is .... this employee is pregnant and if we start her at the new hotel her Mat leave will not calculate properly ... any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Hi @Sharon Harkins If the employee is moving form PAYE company to another, the system views this as a new employment and will treat the employees as it should in the event of moving companies.
I would seek advice from HRMC as to the best way to deal with this as it may have legal implications.
Once you have bee advised by them, we may be able to help you further.
