Multiple employees on Rota Summary Report

When running a Rota Summary Report​, multiple employee hours get multiplied by their weekly wage, can this be amended please so the system works out their hourly rate?   Multiple employees are set in the following way - their multiple employment job role is the same as their main job role so no shift or hourly rate is required, although there is system's note on the screen - Hourly Only, which can't be amended by the user on the Multiple employment screen, can this be the reason for such calculation method?   Thank you Snezana

Hi @Karen Sheffield​ If the employee is Salaried, the report will only show the Salary and will not calculate this as an hourly rate. This is not something that would be changed.

Please can you explain what you are trying to do?

Hi Debbie,

 

This report is used by the managers to see the split of their rota cost by employee and to identify where the cost saving can be made.

 

Currently the system multiplies daily rate by the hours work by multiple employees, the rota summary report looks like that:

Mike Smith £120 * 28 = £3,360 (weekly cost)

 

Can this be amended to calculate accurate cost? Potentially I would like true cost to be shown on the report.

Hi @Karen Sheffield​ The rota module provides a forecast indication of what the payroll cost is likely to be. This will never be the true cost. The reporting of actual costs should be done in payroll. One of the reasons is Salaries for Rota cost purposes is Salary divided by 52 and in payroll most people pay 1/12 each month.

 

The rota module will behave differently depending on the configuration, there are a few settings around multiple employment so I would suggest discussing this with a Solution Consultant on an #AskFourth session.
