working with value approval mechanism in trade simple

my question is around can the period budget value load files and a single order value approval mechanism be used at the same time. i.e. we use the period budget value load files for one supplier, but for another supplier we use single order value approval, e.g. every order over £250 goes for approval. Thank you for bringing this query to the Customer Community.

 

In short, the answer to your question is - Yes :)

 

When uploading a Budget Values file, each value is associated to a supplier and a unit - therefore you can apply budgets to as little or as many units and suppliers as you wish. (Remember - Budget Values files are facilitated by a Financial Periods file - so don't forget to load both)

 

If you want a single order approval process for other suppliers, depending on access rights, this can be managed via the 'maintain suppliers' page on Trade Simple. A maximum order value can be entered against a supplier e.g. £250 and if an order for that supplier go overs that amount, an approval email will be sent out to the designated contact.
