Can you confirm that we need to have set contracted days for a salaried person.
The example we have is a person who was put on a weekly salary to give her a little bit of flexibility in her hour worked each week but help her maintain a steady weekly wage.
It has come to our attention that she is working her contracted hours each week but sometimes it over 5 days / 4 days / 3 days.
I wanted to check that I am correct in my assumption that in order to work out sick pay and holidays we need to know what days a salaried person is contracted to work?

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for the question. You are correct, the system needs to know if an employee is working different days and hours to the FTE set up in the job title and you can do this by overriding their FTE on their employment details page with their working days per week and hours per week. This can be updated if the pattern changes but it ensures that holiday calculations are correct as the system will pro-rate the allowance.
