Hi @Hayley Ballinger, @Jade Swindail and @Eleanor Cross

    Thanks for your post!

Holiday allowance and holiday accural for an employee is driven from the employment start date. Making changes applicable to an employee's start date will directly affect this by either increasing or decreasing their allowance/accural.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you need any further information.

    Hi @Silvio Pelizza,

This query was more around the impact of the detail within the release notes on Past Effective Date Changes i.e. if a previous change is made things ahead of this are deleted. Therefore, if the start date required amendment, would this mean that all other changes would be deleted and if backdated holidays/absence were needing to be added would this delete all ahead of this date also?

    I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks,

    Hayley

    Hi @Hayley Ballinger ,

Good question – Changing the ‘Start date’ would ONLY change the employee’s holiday allowance and accrual. It will not change any recorded absences, holidays or future requests.

Is there any other records that you are worried about losing when the ‘Start date’ changes?

    Best,

    Silvio
