Viewing Staff holiday calendar

Is it possible to set the calendar screen (where we see authorised and requested holidays ) to show all employees even if they have not requested a holiday yet ? would be handy so we can see full workforce available before authorising a holiday   Would also be really handy if we could authorise or decline from this screen ???

Hi Sharon,

 

Thank you for your question,

 

The holiday calendar will only show employees that are away in that duration selected in the search, there isn't functionality that will allow you to view all employees on this page- however the calendar can be exported to excel if required.

 

As well, since functionality is not there to approve or decline off of this page we would recommend accessing the calendar via HR > Holidays and Absences > Employees Holidays > (Top right hand side) View Calendar.

This will pull up the calendar for you as a pop up window which I found very useful to pull up beside other information.

Is it possible to add this as a development request as it would be handy to see our number of staff available on that day before we authorise a holiday

These suggestions can either be an idea for the solution as a whole, or a Change Request, which is generally involves a fee, based on the time it would take to build.
