On Engage we would like to put tasks for the HODs to ensure that they are completed. How do I go about doing this?

We are looking at starting to use the 'Tasks' tab on Fourth Engage but have been told that it is currently only used to display requests from users who have asked to join a Dynamic group that has been created by a user.    We don't understand what that means exactly? We are wanting to be able to put tasks on there for the Head of Department to ensure that they are completed.   Is this something we can do?

Great question!!

 

As you correctly stated, the tasks tab at the moment will display notifications to an admin user of a dynamic group (these being the groups that users have access to create) when another user requests to join.

 

Although it is not possible to create your own personalized tasks under this section, it is in the road map for further functionality to be developed.

 

It is planned that the tasks tab will have the potential to be used for approval workflows such as orders and holidays.
