How does 52 weeks holiday calculation affect employees on maternity leave?

How will we calculate holidays accrued for colleagues that are on maternity leave? As the last 52 weeks they would not have worked.

Thank you for your question.

For employees on maternity leave the system will look back to the last worked week and the 52 weeks prior to that, for up to 104 weeks. It will use the average days from these rotas to calculate the holiday entitlement, and employees will continue to accrue holidays while they are on maternity leave.
