Dear Mark,

Thank you for the quick turnaround, further to below clarification I would like to know if interim inventory not closed until a later date and realized next day after importing sales files of last business day

Wouldn’t it matters to closed interim inventory selecting the day we perform stock take and will not add sales on?

Best regards,

Prasanna

Hi @Prasanna Kandamullage ,

The ability to post the interim inventory on a particular date means that the sales for any dates after that will not be included in the calculation of stock variation.

Hi @Prasanna Kandamullage ,

Thank you for your question.

In instances where an interim inventory is physically performed on one day but not closed until a later date, it is possible to select the date on which the variances arising from the interim inventory are posted. This allows inventory variances to be posted to a specific reporting date range.

There is some more info in the release note here: https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/General-Release-Notes-Purchasing-Inventory-4-6-84

I hope that helps.
