We would like to understand how we can record the name of the person who referred a new employee if during the new starter set up process, we select 'source' as 'Introduce a Friend'

Is there a free text field which can be used? Or can there be a prompt to fill in another field with the name of the person who referred them. We run a refer a friend scheme through which employees are paid bonuses for referring people into the business and this would really help us. Thanks

    I use comments.

    Once the new starter has been created, you go into the referrers record and record a comment in the category (refer a friend).

    This can be reported on as and when using the comments report in HR. This would then need be passed to payroll.
