We have an purchasing template with 700 items. Is there a way to print bar codes of the template on to sticker labels?

Good day! You can't print barcodes from a template but you can print them by category, product, outlet or location.

The Product List with Labels report, article found here https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/Purchasing-Inventory-Product-List-with-Labels-Report, gives you these options and also has Avery 5161 labels listed as a print option.
