Purchasing & Inventory: General ledger numbers

Hi all,   A question from @Selina Routh​:   ​Our rooms admin was able to enter a GL number (account) into Adaco that did not exist. This caused us an import error to our accounting system (m3)  how is she able to add a GL that does not exist in Adaco ?    Best, Rozz Fourth

Thank you for your query.

 

Accounts can only be added into Adaco via Property->Setup->Accounting->Accounts then against a transaction (OR/Transfer/PR/PO) if GL & Outlet Accounts are enabled against only the Outlets flagged in Property->Setup->Accounting->Outlet Accounts:

We recommend double-checking Outlet Account configuration for your Outlets, specifically those in question, to ensure only valid Account-Outlet combinations are flagged; you may use the information from the AP Export/Import to trace backwards into the core application.
