I'm looking for a report that provides the gross pay per employee within time perimeters that I can adjust... does such a report exist? Thanks

A great report to use for this would be the P11 YTD Report which can be found in Payroll Module > Reports > Exports > P11 YTD Report. This needs to be run for a selected company, pay basis and tax year and will include gross pay for each employee in each pay period within the selected tax year.

The payroll reports are run and grouped by pay periods as opposed to specific dates so this would be a case of running a report such as the P11 YTD I mentioned above and removing any periods you don’t need, or running a report per pay period such as the Payroll Summary – Individual Pay Period (Payroll > Reports > View Reports) for as many periods as required.

For specific dates, you would need to run a rota report for the selected date range, for example the Employee Hours Worked, or Forecast vs Actual vs Paid Hours – Daily (both found in Rotas > Reports > Exports) and then manually calculate the payments for the hours worked in this period. Please bear in mind that this would not be a true reflection of what was actually paid, as there are certain elements and adjustments that are only included in payroll after rotas have already been submitted.
