Compatibility: F1 user license (browser based) Outlook & ordering in Adaco

Question on behalf of customer:   They are going with Microsoft 365 wherein they have an F1 user and some E5 users. For the Chefs , they were looking to get the F1 user license which will be browser based and no outlook installed locally.   So will the Chefs still be able to place orders?   Thank you for your time!

Hi Guys,

 

Thanks for the great question​.

 

The system can be set-up to use SMTP emails either for the whole property or individual users, which would allow anyone to place a Purchase Requisition, route it for approval and then transmit the PO. Alternatively if you don't use approval routes it will allow the Purchase order to be transmitted to the vendor.

How can the customer set up their team to use SMTP emails as per above?

 

Could you confirm if it is via Property > Administration > Property Preferences > Communication as per this Article ?
