Hi Guys,
Thanks for the great question.
The system can be set-up to use SMTP emails either for the whole property or individual users, which would allow anyone to place a Purchase Requisition, route it for approval and then transmit the PO. Alternatively if you don't use approval routes it will allow the Purchase order to be transmitted to the vendor.

How can the customer set up their team to use SMTP emails as per above?
Could you confirm if it is via Property > Administration > Property Preferences > Communication as per this Article ?

Hi Maria,
That is setting it for the property, but each User's preference will need to be checked as per the article here: https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/Purchasing-Inventory-Using-the-Communication-Tab-in-User-Preferences
