Our level 7 manager cannot tick the boxes on the SSP add a new absence in the HR Module for rota days to work.
I am able to tick them so I am assuming its a setting somewhere that needs to be changed ?

If you have checked that the templates are correct for this employee, it may be their access has been bespoke d at some point and therefore the templates have been overridden.
You will need to reassign the payroll template to this user.
Payroll > Users > Assign user access > Search user and select > User profile
Select the relevant template and apply.
You can also use the Bespoke access report to check if employees have had their accessed bespoked.
HR > Reports > Exports
