How Can The Purchasing Manager create a PO if the delivery Date has passed & the system is not allowing her to create the PO?.

    @Juliet King​, we run into similar problems since we have to have our budget reviewed and then the Purchase Req has to be approved. If it doesn't cause an issue, we move the Delivery Date to later in the month to keep it in the same Fiscal Period and give it time to move through the approval process. Then, we can adjust it once it is a PO before we send it to the Vendor, who will usually ignore any date we put on it anyway.

     

    It depends on your User Group settings as to whether or not this will work for you and your company.

    Adaco will allow you to change the delivery date of a purchase req when processing from the drop down of Purchasing->Create POs from Requisitions.   This is outlined in the community article link below.
