Is it possible to remove the word ‘Shift’ removed for some locations that do not use Shift pay and only pay hourly - or is this a global setting for all locations?

This is not a global setting when it comes to shift vs hourly pay, however, this is driven by job title so it would depend on whether the job title is shared among all locations, or whether it is independent to specific locations.

If the job titles are shared and both shift and hourly options are required, then unfortunately, it is not possible to remove the word shift from the rotas.

However, there is another way around this also, and that is, on the employee record, where payment type is selected, if 'hourly' is chosen for all employees in that location, then the word shift should not appear on the rota.
