Will I be notified when my employee creates a holiday request?

With holiday requests, if you are the person set up as the 'reports to' for the employee, and you have a work email address in your personal details page, you will be notified of the holiday request by email. In addition, when you log into the system and go to the homepage of the HR module, you'll see the holiday request in the top box. You can then authorize from this box if appropriate, or click on the request line to be taken to the holiday page to see other information that will help make a decision on how to action that request. The 'reports to' person is set up in the employee's 'assign access levels' page and/or the employee batch update, where you can search by the attribute of 'reports to' and assign a manager to a group of people.
