FnB Live: Why has my Stock Period locked?

Hi,

 

On some occasions, the FnB Live system locks as a safety measure when 2 users or more are performing contrasting actions within the same portal, at the same time. For example, if Person A is navigating on an open Stock Period and Person B then closes the Stock Period at the same time for that site. The system then locks to protect any data being saved while these contrasting actions are being performed.

 

As the error message states, the system usually unlocks itself sooner after. In the event that it has not, this would be a technical issue and should be reported to our Technical Support team. Please escalate this within your business to the relevant Head Office contact who is responsible for raising technical cases with Fourth. I would recommend including the following details: Portal, Site Name and the duration that it has been locked.
