Hi   Can you confirm if Student Loan notifications should be coming through the HMRC Data Exchange ?   Or do we need to log into the Government Gateway Exchange   I have received a call from HMRC saying they have sent it 5 times but we have not received anything

Yes, SL 1 and 2 forms do come through the HMRC data exchange, if you have had the data exchange configured for use. However these do need to be downloaded and then administered using the appropriate menus in the drop down under data exchange, they do not automatically update.

Alternatively, you can log into the government gateway to get the information and update the relevant employees.

This is something that is managed by our Payroll Bureau if signed for bureau services.
