when you choose to attach the Rolling Absence to a contract what does this mean? Does it mean that my absence period would be different to someone else's?

Good Morning {@005D000000AK2vAIAT} !
When a contract is created it will affect the Company Sick Pay for any Job Title which has attached to it. When the contract is set up, it will require the absence settings to also be created. Within this field is the option to decide what the absence period is based on. All the other options will result in a cut off for that absence period, dependent on the time frame, ie holiday or financial year end. If 'rolling' is selected it means that there is not a 'pool' left at the end of the cut off. 'Rolling' tends to be chosen, as there is a possibility within the other options that an employee might perceive the cut off date as a goal in which to 'use' up any entitled CSP days. Lastly the absence for the employee would still need to be created, and the contract would have to be assigned to the employee within the employment details page.
I hope this helps!
