Our GL codes aren't matching those on Sage, are we able to change these in house? Will this affect anything on Fourth Analytics?

GL codes are called Accounting System codes in HR and Payroll,

Accounting system codes can be entered for Locations, Divisions Job titles and Payment types.

In Payroll, Nominal codes can also be configured in Global Settings

From time to time a business may want to change their Accounting system codes or Nominal codes.

The impact of changing nominal codes in payroll will be immediate and will change any previous reports, however these can be changes as and when the customer requires.

If the customer uses #[Fourth Analytics]​ , it is Important that LOCATION accounting system codes are not changed. This will affect information feeding to FA.

If a customer needs to make a change to location codes, this will require a project and may be chargeable.

Division and Job title accounting system code changes can be made at anytime but will also be effective immediately and affect previous reports.
