Is it possible to amend the welcome email sent out for the Fourth engagement platform and to add an attachment to the email?

Unfortunately this is not current functionality.
In our experience it is better to preempt the welcome email with instructions to ensure the employees;
- know what to do when they receive the welcome email.
- check their Filters and Junk folders to ensure they get the welcome email
- Understand why they should be clicking the link in the welcome email and the benefits they will get from using your engagement platform. (Many people do not click links in emails due to phishing so may ignore the email all together.)
I would suggest adding this into your welcome pack or handbook, so they are aware before they receive the email.

I have reviewed your account and can see that your are one of our Engage customers. @Debbie Thomas 's response is applicable to our ESS ONLY customers.
As you benefit from our Engage Platform the welcome email can be amended. However we cannot add an attachment, if you can create a URL for the item you wish to add that can be added to the content of the welcome email.
Please email your CSM with all the information and they will raise a request to our Project Team to have this amended as it isn't something you can do yourselves.
As per Debbies response, we do recommend that you add information into your onboarding process that they are aware they will receive two emails and will need to click on the link in order to access the app.
Please be aware the second "no reply" email cannot amended.
