Also has a MATB1 form been entered for this employee?

I have checked with Bureau and our product owner and we do not believe that this tick box will impact payments.

Having looked at the rules around SMP and SSP, I found the following.

This suggests that the tick box is a way of recording pregnancy related sick pay so they can be excluded from absence reporting.

It is not believed that the tick box will force an employee onto SMP if the illness is within the last four weeks of pregnancy.
