How do we disable the ability to back-date the "Receiving Date" during a receiving process?
-
Good morning @Jerrylee Findley via @John Edwards,
Thank you for your query.
Back-dating into prior periods is controlled by the Access Right "Post While Inventory In Progress" outlined here:
https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/Adaco-User-Group-Inventory-Access-Rights
The Receiving Date defaults to the current date but can be updated to any date within the current period by those users with Receiving access; this cannot be disabled & would need to be an internal process discussion reiterating the importance of accurate posting dates.
Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions around this topic.

This was what our property wanted to do. We wanted this option to always be the current date.
