How do I transfer products from site to site when they are in different Units in FnB?

That's a good question, we hear it a lot on the service desk.

While using site transfers is advisable whenever possible, the system will only allow site transfers to be performed within the same Unit. You can however use Account Transfers to transfer between sites in separate Units.

First an appropriate account should be available, while you could use an a preexisting Account I would always advise using a dedicated account, this will help Identify any discrepancies that may occur. The address for the communities guide to doing this is at the bottom.

You should then go to the site the goods are being transferred from, and create a new Transfer to Account. Care should be taken that the Transfer is FROM stock TO account. The items being transferred should then be transferred and sent.

When the goods arrive at the new site, an account transfer should be created in the same method. In this instance however the transfer should go TO stock FROM account, and only the goods received should be added to this transfer.

You can then compare the Transfers at each site to identify any discrepancies that may occur.
