Is it possible to have the employee pay rate as 'read only' whilst still having access to transfer an employee via the Employee Details page? Thanks

Salaried would not have an hourly rate, but from the Employment Details screen it can be set that the employees salary information is read only, and therefore non editable. It is a permission in the HR Template, Annual Salary, and can be set to No Access, Full Access or Read Only.

In respect to pay bandings, they only work on hourly rate can can be set up so that whoever has access to edit the Employment Details screen (which they would need to transfer) that changes would be effectively 'locked down' to whatever the bandings have been set to.

Morning! In respect to hourly rate employees this would not be possible, however you can set the salary to read only within the Employment Details screen if desired. This is a permission and can be set through the hierarchy HR template.

Also, if pay is an issue for hourly rate, perhaps pay bandings could 'restrict' the rates, not making it 'read only' but locking down the hourly rate somewhat.
